Actually, it seems like that fateful day in November, 2010 was a million years ago. Sometimes it really hits me with surprise that we actually picked Chubby Bunny back up and kept it going after everything that happened in 2011.
Here we are at 100 strips and 50 Facebook fans! We’re talking about advertizing and merchandise, hoping for a tiny, fluffy revolution in 2012.
And in real life, we are embarking shortly on a half-reverse of our journey from last summer. Hopefully we can avoid the lapses in your comic enjoyment as well as the organ removal and psychological breakdown that happened last year.
Keep watching this space, and we’ll keep bringing the fluff.

Dear Readers,
We made it to 50 comics! I suppose our next goal would be to get 50 readers (not that we don’t love our 20 or so all to death). We know we’re going to have to step it up, so we’re taking a wee break to deal with life and build up a buffer. That way when we come back (Monday, March 14) we’ll be more on the ball and less, “Holy crap we’ve got to get a comic out for tomorrow and I’m so tired from all this drama/sickness/day job bullshit/etc.”
In the meantime, you can follow the artist on twitter (AsaintJ), or by reading her blog (Echolocated). You can follow the writer if you are near Oakland, CA and have a good pair of walkin’ shoes.
We adore every one of you, and can’t wait to be back on track.
See you March 14!!
An explaination of preposterous verbiage, or: where in the hell your comic did go.
by admin on January 21, 2011 at 7:58 pmWe must submit to you, wonderful readers, our most humble of apologies: there will be no Chubby Bunny update for this Friday. It began with a little note from the landlord being slipped under our door. To paraphrase, the note notified us that our landlord had intentions of re-financing the building, and thus needed to go around all the units with some bank appraisers. Seeing as how our landlord has been awfully nice to us in that whole ‘leaving us alone’ manner, we decided it would be nice to clean the apartment a bit… which is no small feat. So, after having cleansed the apartment of embarrassing or incriminating decorations, we were entirely too exhausted to create a comic. The notion of having me, your humble narrator, do the art for today’s strip was considered and then subsequently laughed at (as well it should be). We also considered the idea of a late update, hammering out a comic in the early evening in order to keep with schedule. Unfortunately, reoccurring physical trauma from a traumatizing car accident endured by our intrepid artist has caused us to reconsider.
So, we are left with no strip to present to you. We promise to be back on track come Monday and hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive us.
Hello! Thank you for reading! I would like to take this little space to point out the links we have to other webcomics over here to the left… These happen to be some of our favorites, and we think they deserve a visit.
Also, I would like to point out the vote button we have here on the right. It lets you vote for our comic once a day, and really only serves to stroke our egos as we slowly claw our way above hundreds of other webcomics. We’d enjoy it if you stroked our egos… don’t worry, it’s not nearly as traumatizing as it sounds.
